Eric Franceries began his formal music education at the age of 8,
attending the National Academy of Lyon, where his father was an
instructor. In 1977, he enrolled in the National Superior Music
Academy of Paris to study under Alexandre Lagoya, during which
time he won numerous competitions. Since 1980, he has been a
music instructor at the Chambery Academy and an international
performer. He is now well established as a world-class guitarist and
very much acclaimed by the public and critics everywhere.
