Jeffrey P. Thuerauf is presently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Music Education at Arizona State University. He has a Bachelor's Degree from the Franciscan University of Steubenville, a Masters of Arts degree from St. John's Seminary, and a Master of Music degree in Choral Music Education from ASU. Jeffrey is currently pastoiof St. James Catholic Church in Coolidge, Arizona. Michael Cavalieri is currently pursuing his Master of l\4usic in Music Theatre/Opera. Michael graduated with his Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Illinois Wesleyan University. While in Illinois, he conducted the United Methodist Church of Heyworth choir and the Illinois Wesleyan University Chapel Choir. He has sung under the baton of such conductors as Dr. J. Scott Ferguson, Dr. David Nott, Dr. Elmer Thomas, Terry Edwards, Robert Page, and Dale Warland. He has performed with numerous groups, such as the Grant Park Music Festival, Opera Illinois, Arizona Opera, and the ASU Concert Choir. This summer, he will join the Santa Fe Opera chorus as a member of the Apprentice Program for Young Singers. Ryan Smit is presently working on his Master's degree in Choral Music Education. He recently received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Choral and Instrumental Education from Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, where he was the principal assistant conductor for the Dordt College Kantorei and an assistant conductor for the Dordt College Campus Band. He also sings with the Phoenix Bach Choir and serves as Music Director for Phoenix Christian Reformed Church. Ryan and his wife Amie live in Tempe, along with their oneyear-old son Caleb. Curtis received his Bachelor's degree in VocaVChoral Music Education from Grand Canyon University. His Master of Music in Vocal Performance/Pedagogy was earned at Arizona State University where he studied with Jerry Doan. He is now pursuing a DMA in Choral Conducting. Mr. Curtis is currently on sabbatical leave from the Bisbee Unified School District in Bisbee, Arizona. There he is the Choral Music Director for the school district and the Artistic Director of the Bisbee Community Chorus. Over one-third of the student body at Bisbee High School sings, and his choirs have performed throughout the state of Arizona as well as in New Mexico; Mexico; San Diego and San Fransisco, Califomia; and New York City. Prior to working in Bisbee, Mr. Curtis was the Director of Music for the First Presbyterian Church in Phoenix.
