He became a naturalized United States citizen in 1%8. Taki came to ASU,s Music 1964. He has performed solo recitals in some of the world,s major and in American art galleries. He was named "Chevalier du Violoncelli" bv and will be a member of the Lmnard Rose Cello Competition, May Rostropovich invited him to be one of lntemational Jury for the 2001, at the Un the soloists and Cello Congress, in St. Russia, 1997. to be the Executive Director American Ce llo Congress- Festival, to be held at ASU's Orchestra in Washington , D.
