Thank you. 0 Bill Moio started playing guitar while living in Maine. There he played with jazz trombonist Don Doane and attended the Berklee College of Music (1974-75) studying with legendary guitarist and educator Bill Leavitt. In 1978, Bill Moio and brother Dom left for Reno, Nevada, with the Bill Moio Quartet. It became one of the first jazz groups to play at the MGM Grand. Through the 1980s, Bill played at Harrah's in both Reno and Lake Tahoe. In 1987, he became bandleader at Harrah's Tahoe, performing regularly until relocating to Las Vegas, where he currently lives and performs. Bill Moio continues to travel throughout the United States, performing concerts and presenting seminars and clinics on jazz improvisation and guitar. In 1995, he recorded the Phoenix Jazz Quartet CD with brother Dom, Armand Boatman, and Warren Jones. A new PJQ CD was just released, and a project with jazz great Joe Diorio is expected to also be available soon. Performance Events Stall' Manager Paul W.
