She has soloed with the Boston Pops, played at Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall in New York, the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., Salle Pleyel in Paris and Suntory Hall in Tokyo. Her acute sensitivity and profound musicality have made her a sought-after partner with some of the leading lights in string playing. She has performed with Gregor Piatigorsky, Ruggiero Ricci and Paul Tortelier, great players of the past. Early in her career, she was invited to play with Heifetz and Piatigorsky together. She was pianist for the cello master classes of Gregor Piatigorsky, who described her as "an artist of the highest order." She is a founding member of the Sitka Summer Music Festival in Alaska and has participated in many other chamber music festivals, including the Grand Canyon Festival, Steamboat Springs in the Mountains, Park City International Festival and Chamber Music/LA. Over 20 new compositions have been written for Tom Landschoot, including two large symphonic cello concertos by two leading European contemporary composers: 'Prix de La Musique' winning Frank Nuyts and director of the Philadelphia Chamber Orchestra Dirk Brosse. Thomas Landschoot was appointed to the faculty of music at Arizona State University School of Music in 2001, after having taught at the University of Michigan. In 2013, Landschoot joined the Rossetti String Quartet. Thomas Landschoot performs on a Tommaso Balestrieri cello and a Dominique Pecatte bow. Her recordings include the Saint Saens violin sonatas with Andres Cardenes on the Arabesque label and the complete Mendelssohn cello works with Jeffrey Solow for Centaur, as well as three CDs with cellist Nathaniel Rosen: the Brahms Sonatas for JMR records, plus two albums of romantic pieces entitled "Reverie" and "Orientale" for Northstar. A recent Stravinsky CD with violinist Mark Peskanov received a Grammy nomination. Miss Stevenson taught for ten years at the University of Southern California and has been Artist in Residence at Williams College since 1987. Violinist Mark Peskanov, one of the most versatile musicians performing today, is a winner of The Avery Fisher Career Grant and The First Isaac Stern Carnegie Hall Award. He has been a guest soloist on numerous occasions with the Chicago Symphony and the New York, Los Angeles and London Philharmonics as well as the Boston, Cleveland, Philadelphia, San Francisco, LSO, NHK, Montreal, Toronto and many other Orchestras. "Triumph at Carnegie Hall ... Peskanov has it all - technique, temperament and taste" -The New York Times. He has appeared at summer festivals including Aspen, Grant Park, the Mann Music Center, Tanglewood and at the Hollywood Bowl. Hailed as a "Sensational Soloist" by The Chicago Tribune, Mr. Peskanov has performed as a soloist with orchestras and in recital throughout North America, Australia, Japan, the Middle East, Europe and South America. Mr. Peskanov is also a gifted composer. His recording of Stravinsky's L'Histoire du Soldat on Koch Records was nominated for 2003 Grammy Awards. He is the President, Executive and Artistic Director of Bargemusic. Praised for his expressive and poetic music making, Belgian cellist Thomas Landschoot enjoys an international career as a pedagogue, as well as a concert and recording artist. As an active soloist, he has performed recitals and concerto performances in Brussels, Amsterdam; Tolsyo, Taipei, Toronto, Vancouver, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, Bucharest, and Loja, Ecuador with orchestras like the National Orchestra of Belgium, the Orchestra of the White House and the Frankfurt Chamber Orchestra. He has performed at renowned festivals and music series including-Barge Music, Park City, Santa Barbara, Mammoth Lakes, Eureka, High Peaks, Utah, Red Rock, Waterloo, Killington and Texas Music Festivals.
