Lemoine, sax Juli Smith, horn Emily Rozansky, trombone Dongfang Zhang, piano Alexandros Fragiskatos, percussion Max Greenwald, electric guitar Luciana Gallo, cello Mathias Steinauer was born in Basie in 1959. He studied the piano, composition (with Robert Suter and Roland Moser) and music theory at the Basie Music Academy. From 1986 to 1988 he studied composition with Gyorgy Kurtag in Budapest. Since 1986 he has been a professor for music theory, courses for New Music and composition at the Zurich University oft he Arts. He has had performances and given lectures at music academies and festivals in many European countries, as well in Azerbaidjan, Canada, China, Brazil, the USA and Japan. In 2004, he was the Artistic Director of the ISCM World New Music Days in Switzerland, entiteled ,,trans_it". In 2011 his first opera ,,Keyner nit'.' has had performances at Lucerne and Zurich. See also: www.mathiassteinauer.com Benjamin Lang was born in 1976 and studied Composition (with Adriana Holszky, Johannes Schallhorn and Michael Edwards) and Music Theory and Conducting in Rostock, Salzburg, Hannover, Lugano, Bremen and Edinburgh. He taught Composition and Music Theory at the Universities of Music in Hannover, Bremen, Rostock and at the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrock and the University LOneburg. In 2008 he became lecturer in Composition, Composition Teaching Methods and Music Theory. Today he is professor for composition and music theory at the University of Arts Zurich. His compositions have been premiered performed at several festivals. Gregorio Di Trapani, after gaining his diploma in percussion instruments and completing the Liceo Psicopedagogico in Italy he pursued his studies at the Conservatorio della Svizzera ltaliana, the George Enescu National University in Bucharest and the Ferienkurse tor neue Musik, Darmstadt. He has participated as soloist or with various ensembles in festivals in Switzerland, Germany, Brazil, Venezuela, Vietnam, Indonesia, Romania, Russia, France and Italy. He has collaborated with a number of cultural centres including Teatro Massimo, Palermo, Radio della Svizzera ltaliana, Tchaikovsky Auditorium, Moscow, Goethe lnstitut, Freiburg, and ARTE television. He teaches rhythmic analysis at the Conservatorio della Svizzera ltaliana and percussion in the Scuola di musica moderna, Lugano.
