As Director of Music at St. Maria Goretti Church, Scottsdale, he directs the church's choral program and plays their restored pipe organ. He is also director of the Newman Schola at All Saints Newman Center at ASU in Tempe, an eight-voice professional men's' ensemble. Skye holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in organ performance from ASU, and undergraduate degrees in music and French from Lyon College. Past teachers include Kimberly Marshall, Stephen Shebenik, Russell Stinson, Siegbert Rampe, and additional studies with Serge Schoonbroodt. He has played with a number of ensembles, including the ASU Baroque Ensemble, the Symphonic Chorale, the Phoenix Symphony, Scottsdale Choral Artists, and the Tetra String Quartet, and has served as accompanist on international choir tours. As Dean of the Central Arizona Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, he enjoys finding ways to give the pipe organ and its music greater exposure and teaching talented young organists.
