Thank you. A versatile artist, he has been awarded the prestigious Kate N ea! · Kinley Memorial Prize, Feltsman Piano Foundation Scholarship, and June and Charles Ross Piano Fellowship. One of his live recordings has been collected in the album "Encore!" by ABC Classics. A native of Beijing, China, Mr. Chen earned his Bachelor and Master's Degrees from Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Artist Diploma from Oberlin Conservatory of Music. His principal teachers include Hung-Kuan Chen, Angela Cheng, Robert Hamilton, and William Heiles. Other teachers and mentors include Terna Blackstone, Alvin Chow, Cheung-Yu Mo, Yunlin Yang, and Xiaosheng Zhao. Mr. Chen is currently studying with Professor Robert Hamilton in the Phoenix area. Cong Feng is currently a doctoral student in piano performance at Arizona State University, studying under Robert Hamilton. He began piano lessons when he was six years of age, commencing his professional piano training while in junior high school. Cong's high school diploma is from the high school of the Sichuan Conservatory of Music. Upon graduation he pursued his Bachelor of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music as a student of Gabriel Chodos. His Master of Music degree is from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, under the guidance of piano professor Yoshikazu Nagai. As a multiple prizewinner and recipient of numerous scholarships, Mr. Feng gained public attention while still young. He gave his first important solo recital in Singapore when he was 14, followed by performances in Asia, the United States and Europe. Renowned pianist Bruce Brubaker once called him "a novel and personal pianist." Recently, Mr. Feng was named Spokesperson for the largest piano museum in China, Huangjueping Piano Museum located in Chongqing which is also the city in which Mr. Feng was born. He was honored to be featured performer at the opening ceremony of the Grotrian-Steinweg section. l Biographies Born in Hefei, China, Xiaoyu Zhang began her theory and piano studies with her father at the age of four, and later won two gold medals at the Young Musician Competition of China. Xiaoyu earned both Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Shizhen Yao and Xiaosheng Zhao. She was also conferred a Performance Diploma by the Longy School of Music in Boston, where she worked with Rieko Aizawa, Peter Serkin, and Eda Shlyam. Xiaoyu is currently a candidate for the Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Arizona State University under the guidance of Professor Robert Hamilton. Xiaoyu Zhang has performed in many major cities of the United States and China, including appearances in New York, Boston, Phoenix, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Hefei, and Wuhu. Recent ·performances include Steinway Hall in New York, the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, Tempe Center for the Arts, Pickman Hall in Cambridge, and Shanghai Grand Theater in Shanghai. Xiaoyu has played in masterclasses for world-renowned pianists Vladimir Feltsman, Vladimir Ovchinnikov, Anton Nel, Susan Starr, and Alexander Korsantia. Xiaoyu's recent performances at the Piano Summer Festival in New York and the Bosendorfer International Piano Competition have been highly praised. Xiaoyu also enjoys being an educator, chamber music pianist, and writer. As a teacher she was conferred the "Shanghai Outstanding Piano Teacher Award" in both 2008 and 2009, and her students have won many awards in national and international piano competitions. Some of her students currently pursue degrees in leading music schools worldwide. As a collaborative pianist, Xiaoyu was appointed Artistic Instructor of the conducting department at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music until 2009, and later she worked with the "Longitude" Orchestra for performances of contemporary music. She has regularly performed piano duos with her husband, Moye Chen. As a writer, she has served as Head Journalist for Elite in Shanghai. Praised by The Cincinnati Enquirer for playing of "combined ·bravura and artistry" in his performance of Rachmaninoff s Third Piano Concerto with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and by Frequent Business Traveler.as "majestic and lyric" for his Carnegie Hall recital in 2015, Moye Chen has performed extensively as a concert pianist in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Highlights of his past seasons include concerts in renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall, Aronoff Center, Benaroya Concert Hall, Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, Finney Chapel, Sydney Opera House, Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, Petit Palau Hall, Joaquin Rodrigo Music Auditorium, Beijing Concert Hall, Forbidden City Concert Hall, Shanghai Concert Hall, Shanghai Oriental Art Center, and Shanghai Grand Theater; as well as solo appearances with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Beijing Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Sioux City Symphony Orchestra, Oberlin Orchestra, and International Orchestra "Virtuosos of Madrid"; Mr. Chen has also been invited as guest artist to play in the Gilmore International Keyboard Festival, Deia International Music Festival , Beijing International Contemporary Music Festival, Shanghai Spring Music Festival, DoCha Chamber Music Festival, and Tongyeong International Music Festival.
