His concert performances throughout North America, South America, Europe and Russia have all been received with enthusiastic praise for Preludium pro Organo pleno, BWV 552a Johann Sebastian Bach (1 Ciaccona in B-flat Major 685- l 7s0) Johann Bernahrd Bach (161 6-17 49) his quality programing, colorful use of the organ and interpretive integrity. Adagio in D Minor, H.352 Morrison has performed in Chorale Prelude on "Ich ruf zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ," BWV Carl Phillpp Emanuel Bach (1714-1788) numerous prestigious venues in the North America and abroad. He has Anh.II/73 C.P.E. Bach been chosen by his peers to perform Fantasia and Fugue in C Minor, Wq 119/7 C.P.E. Bach for four national conventions ofthe AGO as well as numerous regional conventions. In his student years, he captured First Prize in numerous organ competitions including the Arthur Poister National Organ Playing Competition (1991) and the Clarence Mader National Organ Competition (1991). He also won the Silver Medal atthe 1994 Calgary International Organ Festival and Competition. In2002, Morrison was appointed head of the organ department at the Curtis Institute of Music, where he holds the Haas Charitable Trust Chair in Organ Studies. In 2006 he joined the faculty of Westminster Choir College of Rider University and has served as College Organist at Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA since 1995. A graduate of both Curtis lnstitute of Music (BMus in Organ and MMus in Piano Accompanying) and Juilliard School of Music (Professional Studies in Organ), his teachers were Sarah Martin, Cherry Rhodes and John Weaver (organ) and Robert Harvey, Vladimir Sokoloffand Susan Starr (piano).
