Olga Kim Collaborative Piano Second D MA Recital "Herr Brahms" Olga Kirn A native ofTashkent, Uzbekistan, collaborative pianist Olga Kim completed her Bachelor Diploma at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, and presented many solo and chamber recitals in Tashkent and in important cultural cities in her homeland. Olga arrived in the USA in 2012 to start working on her Performance Certificate at Lynn University. Ms. Kim is a Florida State winner ofMTNA 2014 Chamber Music Competition. In 2013, she made her New York debut at Lyric Chamber Music Society with The Tashkent Piano Trio, and in 2016 graduated with her Masters of Music Degree. During her studying at Lynn University Conservatory of Music, Ms. Kim had masterdasses with many renowned musicians: Anne Epperson, Rita Sloan, Elmar Oliveira, Joseph Robinson, Jon Manasse, Guillermo Figueroa, Jeffrey Khaner, and Timothy Cobb. Currently, Olga is a doctoral candidate at Arizona State University where she studies with Dr. Andrew Campbell. llr11·Herberger Institute ~ FOR ARIZONA DESIGN AND THE ARTS STATE UNI V ERSITY Mezzo-soprano, Stephanie Sadownik, is a charismatic, versatile performer who is known for her complex characterizations and comedic flare in the Southwestern region. This past season she debuted with Opera Las Vegas in their production of Rigoletto in the role of Giovanna. Other performances in the Las Vegas area include the Foreign Singer in Argento's Postcurd from Morocco, Dorabella in Cosi fon tutte. In 2015 she debuted with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra in their production of Bernstein's Candide and sang the role of Dinah in Trouble in Tahiti with Sin City Opera. Ms. Sadownik is a devotee of art song and cabaret. She is an alumna of the Indiana University Jacob's School of Music, a graduate of the Maryland Opera Studio and is currently a first year DMA student at Arizona State University. Violist Yen-Fang Chen received her Bachelor's degree summa cum laude from National Kaohsiung Normal University in Taiwan, and Master of Music in Viola Performance at the University ofTexas at Austin with Roger Myers. Additionally, she has participated in music festivals , including the Aspen Music Festival as the principal violist of the Aspen Opera Center Orchestra, the Vianden Music Festival, the Red Rocks Winter Music Festival, and the Bowdoin International Music Festival. She has also joined contemporary ensembles such as the Arizona Contemporary Music Ensemble, itch ensemble, and UT New Music Ensemble. She was the member of ASU's Herberger String Quartet and teaching assistant. Currently, Yen-Fang is pursuing her doctoral degree at the Arizona State University, studying with Nancy Buck. Olivia Moonitz (Clarinet)is an active teacher and performer in the Phoenix Metro Area, US, and abroad. National and international performances include those at the International Clarinet Convention 2017 in Orlando, FL and in Oostende, Belgium as part of the Belgian Clarinet Academy. Olivia holds a BM from Florida State University and an MM from Arizona State University, where she has been the clarinet teaching assistant for almost four years and is currently pursuing a doctorate.
