JJeathe'l Peel Oizgan Graduate Recital Series Organ Hall November 19, 2017 • 7:30pm A51.( Herberger Institute FOR DESIGN AND THE ARTS ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MUSIC P'log'lam About the Pe{o'lme'l Born and raised in Passacaglia in G Minor Georg Muffat (1653-1704) Tennessee, Heather Peel has been playing the organ since she was 14. She began her studies with from the Robertsbridge Codex Estampie Anonymous (c. 1359) / Estampie (2007) Franz Danksagmiiller Judy Glass in 2008, and (b. 1969) continued on with her to complete a BS in music Ciacona in C Minor, BuxWV 159 Dieterich Buxtehude (1639-1707) with emphasis in organ Southern Adventist Tennessee in May of 2016. Heather is currently in her third Five Dances II. At the Ballet Calvin Hampton An Evening Dance William Albright (1938-1984) and final semester at ASU studying with Kimberly Marshall, (1944-1998) and will graduate with a MM in organ performance next month. She plans to pursue a DMA in organ performance in the near 'Gigue' Fugue in G Major, BWV 577 Johann Sebastian Bach (1685 - 1750) future, and would like study in Europe for a time as well. Her ultimate goal is to teach organ (and perhaps music theory) at the university level. Organ Sonata No. 8 in E Minor, Op. 132 IV.
