A511.Herberger Institute FOR DESIGN AND THE ARTS ARIZONA @2009 ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts 0709 STATE UNIVERSITY In December of 2014, Ashley graduated from Arizona State University with a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Organ Performance (studies with Dr. Kimberly Marshall). While attending ASU Ashley also studied collaborative piano, harpsichord, and fortepiano with Professor Russell Ryan. She accompanies and performs regularly with various musical groups and churches throughout the valley including the Phoenix Women's Chorus and Phoenix Chorale. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from the Cook Honors College at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she was recently honored with an invitation to perform an alumni recital. Currently Ashley is happily serving Director of Music and Arts Ministries at Paradise Valley United Methodist Church. Here she regularly collaborates with Dr. Andria Fennig as part of a piano duo, performing and recording repertoire for four-hand piano. "Dueling Divas" performs across the valley and was recently featured as part of the Red Rocks Music Festival in Sedona. Ashley has also played and participated in recitals on organs across the U.S., Mexico, Spain, Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands. She is very excited to be performing this afternoon on the beautiful instruments of her alma mater!
