This TRP Ordinance revision incorporated six substantive policy statements and removed redundant language referenced in A.R.S. §§ 49-581 – 49-593. On February 2, 2021, the TRP telework plan was approved as an alternative to the standard travel reduction plan. This plan format promotes continued teleworking in organizations throughout Maricopa County by including a new subsidy for teleworking expenses and targeted measures for teleworking organizations. As of the close of FY2021, TRP has transitioned 92.75% of all participants to an electronic TRP Annual Survey. This shift has prevented 1,075 employers from generating paper waste.
