Kerrigan said, “ Out of a total of 14,000 seats in the new 8 m illion dollar com plex, 4,723 w ill be for ASU students. This is opposed to 1000 student seats in the men’s gym , where basketball gam es were previously held, he said. “ These are quality seats,” Kerrigan pointed out. “ About 600 of them are level with the playing floor and most of them are near m id-court.” Kerrigan also said there are no posts or beams obstructing spectators’ views. “ The agreem ent with the University on these seats lasts for two years,” explained K errigan, “ After two years, we could go for m ore seats if the demand is up.” He said students w ill have to pick up the tickets three to four days in advance of the gam es. The tickets w ill be in a random grouping so everyone has an equal chance of getting the best seats. Kerrigan said any tickets not bought for the student section w ill be sold to the general public.
