The appointment, which becomes effective Aug.l, was announced by University President G. Homer Durham. Kimler will succeed Dr. Robert Heimann, professor of education, who served as acting director in establishing the serv­ ice the past year. Heimann will return to full-time service director of counselor training. Coordinated with the student health center, deans’ offices, and other student services, the counseling program is responsible to the Dean of Students. The service consists of ten professional counselors and interns.
