Tuesday, Nov. 26, by President G. Hom­ er Durham. The president announced that Dr. Paul G. Hubbard will address the gath­ ering on “Lessons From History.1- His address will include thoughtful com­ ment on the recent tragic-events in the United States, the meanings of them and the lessons to be learned therefrom, the president said. Ceremonies will begin promptly at ' 10:45 a.m. from a platform in front of the stadium’s East Stands. The college deans, school directors apd other dig­ nitaries will be seated there facing stu­ dents and faculty^ in the East stands. Following the playing of “The Star Spangled Banner” and the invocation, Dr. Durham will introduce Dr. Hub­ bard, whose address will follow. The assembly will dismiss promptly at 11:15. a.m. Only 10:40 a.m. classes will be dis­ missed for this special assembly. „The regular class schedule will be followed DR. PAU«. G. HUBBARD otherwise on Tuesday, the president said. In other developments over the weekend, the ASU-Idaho game sched­ uled for Saturday night was cancelled and will not be re-scheduled. Ticket holders may pick up refunds starting Tuesday morning by presenting th e ir. tickets to the ASU ticket office in the Men’s Gymnasium. President Durham announced Sat­ urday that unclaimed refunds will be turned over to the United States Olym-' pic Fund “as a commemorative tribute to President Kennedy . . . (this was) a project strongly supported by the na­ tion’s late Chief Executive.” Regular schedules of classes and ‘activities will resume at ASU on Tues­ day, with the. exception of the special assembly at 10:45 a.m. at the Stadium. Classes, Activities To Resume Schedule Regular class schedules and activ­ ities will resume at 7:40 am . Tuesday at Arizona State University, according to President G. Homer Durham, follow­ ing the national day of mourning Mon­ day for the late President, of the United States, John F. Kennedy. Make-up performances for the Fri­ day and Saturday night cancellations of the- University Players’ production of “Lysistrata” will be Dec. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. Patrons may transfer tickets or pick up refunds at the tipket office in •the Lyceum building. No information is as yet available on possible re-scheduling of other can­ celled activities, which include Senior Day and a High School Symposium of Dance on Saturday, and a faculty wives’ theater party to the Phoenix Little Theater originally scheduled for Friday, The Class AA High School Cham­ pionship football game between Mesa and South Mountain High S c h o o l s , originally scheduled Friday night in Sun Devil Stadium, will be played Wednesday night: Game time is. 8 p.m.
