For over 20 years, the Central Commercial building in historic downtown Kingman, Arizona was a local eyesore and
safety hazard to the area and its residents. The City of Kingman applied for and received a Community Development
Block Grant (CDBG) in the amount of $500,000 to eliminate the blighted conditions and safety hazards, and to begin
the restoration of the building.
